Abstract:

The failure of an adult to get out of the parent’s control should not be considered as an indicator of pathological addiction. The purpose of a healthy adult individual is not to be completely separated from the authority of his parents, it is to be aware that his parents are helping him when the adult individual is now able to make independent and important decisions for himself. When the child acknowledges what his parents do for himself and contributes to becoming the person he is now, he also feeds a sense of gratitude to his parents. This also causes the child to feel a sense of love and gratitude to his parents together. The child’s responsibility can be examined from the parent’s and child’s perspective. This concept represents the responsibility of the child towards the parents, but also includes the expectation of the parent from the child. There is a lot of understanding of the child’s responsibility. In this study, the concept of child responsibility was thoroughly studied and contributed to literature.
