Kültür içerisinde yer alan ve nesilden nesille aktarılarak taşınan miraslardan biri de geleneksel el sanatlarıdır. El sanatları, insanoğlunun yaşamsal faaliyetlerini sürdürmeye yönelik ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak amacı ile geliştirilen, zaman ve koşullara bağlı olarak değişime uğrayan ve o toplumun kültürel değerlerini yansıtan sanat ve zanaat ürünlerinden oluşur. Bu çalışmada Karabük ili Safranbolu ilçesinde sürdürülen ve yok olma noktasına gelmiş geleneksel el sanatları ele alınmıştır. Çalışmada öncelikle somut olmayan kültürel miras ve geleneksel el sanatları temelinde kavramsal bir çerçeve sunulduktan sonra geçmişten günümüze aktarılmış geleneksel el sanatları hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda Safranbolu’da el sanatları ustaları ile görüşme tekniği uygulanmış, elde edilen bilgiler sonuç ve öneriler şeklinde belirtilmiştir.
One of the heritage that is found in culture and transmitted from generation to generation is traditional crafts. Handworks are art and crafts that are developed in order to meet the needs of mankind to maintain life activities, which are changing according to time and circumstances and reflect the cultural values of that society. In this study, the traditional crafts have been discussed in the Karabük or Safranbolu district and have come to the point of disappearance. The study first presented a conceptual framework on the basis of non-specific cultural heritage and traditional crafts, after providing information about traditional crafts translated from the past to the present. In this direction in Safranbolu the technique of interview with the artists of the hand was applied, the obtained information was indicated in the form of results and recommendations.
