İnternet kullanımının olağanüstü bir hızla yaygınlaşması ve bilişim ile iletişim teknolojilerinin gelişmesi sonucunda, yeni bir ekonomik platform oluşmuştur. Satıcılar kümesi, alıcılar kümesi ile internet pazarında buluşma imkanına sahip olmuş, bu yüzden faaliyetlerini elektronik ortama taşımışlardır. Elektronik ticaret, dünyaya en kolay açılan en büyük kapıdır. Geleneksel ticarete göre birçok üstün yanı bulunan elektronik ticaretin, halen çözüme kavuşturulması gereken sorunları da mevcuttur. Tüketicilerin kişisel verilerinin korunması, e-ticaret sitelerine güven ve hizmet kalitesi bu sorunların başında gelmektedir. Üstelik 2020 yılı başında tüm dünyayı etkisi altına alan Covid-19 salgını sonucu, elektronik ticaret faaliyetlerinin artışıyla beraber ortaya çıkan teslimat problemleri ve tüketici mağduriyetleri, lojistik sektöründeki kalitenin ve lojistik ağının iyileştirilmesi gerekliliğini de ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu çalışmada, elektronik ticaret platformuyla ilgili ülkemizde ve dünyadaki güncel veriler değerlendirilmiş, birtakım çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir.
As a result of the extraordinary rapid spread of the use of the Internet and the development of information and communication technologies, a new economic platform has been formed. The group of sellers has had the opportunity to meet with the group of buyers on the internet market, so they have transferred their activities to the electronic environment. Electronic commerce is the largest door to the world that is easily opened. The e-commerce, which has many superiorities compared to traditional trade, still has problems to be solved. Consumer personal data protection, trust in e-commerce sites and quality of service are the main issues. Furthermore, the Covid-19 epidemic, which in early 2020 affected the entire world, revealed the supply problems and consumer victims that arise with an increase in e-commerce activities, the need to improve the quality in the logistics sector and the logistics network. In this study, the current data on the e-commerce platform in our country and in the world have been evaluated, a number of solutions proposals have been brought.

The problem of protecting personal data of consumers, lack of trust in e-commerce websites and inadequate service quality are among these problems. Moreover, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic that affected the whole world from the beginning of 2020, the delivery problems and consumer grievances that emerged with the increase of e-commerce activities revealed the necessity to improve the quality and logistics network in the logistics sector. In this study, current data about the e-commerce platform in our country and in the world were evaluated and some solutions were proposed.
