Abstract:

Purpose: The aim of this study is to determine the preferential trends of the single production practices applied in a manufacturing enterprise by the method of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and in this context to determine which single production technique applied in the enterprise is more important. Method: AHP method has been used from multi-critical decision-making methods to this goal. Results: In this context, according to the comparisons made on the relevant criteria and alternatives in the enterprise to the goal, the criteria and alternatives are ranked among themselves according to their priorities. These comparisons resulted in a consistent result. Result: The most important of the 11 different single production practices applied in the business in this direction is the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and the following technique is the Tempo (Takt) Time, Standard Business and Value Flow Map.
