Bu araştırma, Korona virüs (COVID-19) salgını sürecinde Ankara’da gerçekleştirilen uzaktan eğitim sürecinin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Araştırma kapsamında uzaktan eğitim süreci hakkındaki öğrenci, öğretmen, okul yöneticisi ve velilerden alınan görüşler “uzaktan eğitime erişim ve katılım, uzaktan eğitimin organizasyonu, uzaktan eğitimin niteliği ve uzaktan eğitimin geleceği” olmak üzere dört alt boyutta incelenmiştir. Bu kapsamda dört farklı anket formu hazırlanmıştır. Anket formları, 120.524 öğrenci, 127.177 öğrenci velisi, 18.031 öğretmen ve 2.111 okul yöneticisi tarafından cevaplanmıştır. Çalışmada toplanan veriler betimsel istatistikler, t-testi ve Anova analizleri ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda paydaşların çoğunluğunun uzaktan eğitime kolaylıkla erişim sağladığı belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin dersleri düzenli olarak işlediği, yöneticilerin öğretmenlerin derslerini sistematik olarak takip ettiği ve dersler hakkında dönüt verdiği belirlenmiştir. Öte yandan, katılımcıların çoğunluğu, uzaktan eğitimin yüz yüze eğitim kadar verimli olmadığını düşünmektedir. Uzaktan eğitimin niteliği ile ilgili okul türünde ortaokulların, paydaşlar arasında da okul yöneticilerinin en olumlu görüşe sahip olduğu belirlenmiştir. Uzaktan eğitimin geleceğine ilişkin yöneticiler diğer paydaşlara göre, ortaokullar diğer okul türlerine göre daha olumlu görüş belirtmiştir. Uzaktan eğitime erişim boyutunda merkez ilçelerdekiler çevre ilçelere, erkekler kadınlara göre daha olumlu görüşe sahiptir. Ayrıca, çevre ilçelerin merkez ilçelere göre uzaktan eğitim çalışmalarının salgın süreci sonrasında devam etmesini daha fazla istedikleri belirlenmiştir.
This study was carried out with the aim of evaluating the distance learning process carried out in Ankara during the corona virus (COVID-19) epidemic. The opinions obtained from students, teachers, school managers and guardians on the distance learning process in the framework of the study have been studied in four subdimensions, including "access and participation in distance learning, the organization of distance learning, the nature of distance learning and the future of distance learning". There are four different forms of survey prepared. The survey forms were answered by 120.524 students, 127.177 student guardians, 18.031 teachers and 2,111 school managers. The data collected in the study was carried out with visual statistics, t-test and Anova analysis. The research has found that most stakeholders have easy access to distance education. It is determined that teachers process classes regularly, that managers systematically follow teachers’ lessons and turn on the lessons. On the other hand, the majority of participants believe that remote education is not as efficient as face-to-face education. The quality of distance education in the type of school has been determined that the high schools, among stakeholders, have the most positive views of the school managers. The managers on the future of remote education, compared to other stakeholders, have given a more positive view of secondary schools than other types of schools. In the distance access size, the central districts have a more positive view of the surrounding districts, men than women. Moreover, the surrounding districts have determined that they want more to continue their distance learning work after the epidemic process according to the central districts.
This study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the distance education in Ankara during pandemic (COVID-19). In the scope of this study opinions of students, parents, teachers and administrative staff were investigated under four sub-dimensions; access to and participation in distance education, organization of distance education, quality of distance education and future of distance education. In this scope, four survey forms were prepared. These surveys were applied to 120.524 students, 127.177 parents, 18.031 teachers and 2.111 administrative staff. The data of the study was analyzed via descriptive statistics, t-test and ANOVA. According to the results of the study, most of the participants had access to distance education. It was also found that teachers had their classes regularly, school administers follow classes systematically and gave feedback to teachers regularly. On the other hand, most of the participants in the study thought that distance education was not as effective as face to face education. When it comes to quality of distance education, secondary schools and administrators had more positive opinions than other participants. Similarly, secondary schools and administrators’ opinions about future of distance education was more positive. Moreover, participants in distance districts of Ankara thought more positively about access to distance education than the participants in central districts. In addition, participants in distance districts were much more eager to continue distance education.
