Yaşamın anlamsızlığına, kaosa, kargaşaya karşı bir tepki, bir tavır niteliği taşıyan postmodern çağ sanat anlayışının çözümlenip anlaşılması da bilimsel bir çaba gerektirir. Bu düşünceye katkı sunduğu fikrinden hareketle bu çalışmada, Ulaş Bingöl’ün Dijital Çağda Pusulası Bozulan Şiir: Postmodernizm ve Şiir Üzerine adlı eseri incelenecektir. Görsel imajların baskısının insan üzerindeki etkisi göz önünde bulundurulduğunda şairlerin de alışılmış şiir estetiğinden koptuğunu, özgür ve özerk davranmayı estetik bir ilke edinerek düzenli bir form oluşturmak yerine düzensizlik içinde sanatsal bir form yaratmayı esas aldıklarını ifade eden yazar, alışılmış şiir estetiğindeki yıkımın ve geleneksel mimesis anlayışındaki çözülmelerin zemininde XIX. yüzyıl sonlarından XX. yüzyıl ortalarına kadar etkisini sürdüren avangart sanat akımlarındaki başkaldırıcı ve yıkıcı eğilimlerin tesiri olduğunu vurgular. Avangardın terk edilerek deneysel ve somut şiire duyulan ilginin ve anlatımcı şiire geri dönülmesinin şiir evreninde ortaya çıkardığı yeni olgunun “postmodern şiir” olarak algılandığını ifade eden Bingöl bu eserinde, modernite ile başlayan hayata anlam verememe probleminin sonraki dönemlerde daha da keskinleştiği ve anlamlı bir bütün olarak kendini ortaya koyamayan öznenin hayata tutunamaması ile gelişen huzursuzluğun daha da belirginleştiği postmodern çağı, şiir sanatı üzerinde somutlaştırarak ele alır.
