2011 yılında başlayan ve hala devam etmekte olan Suriye İç Savaşı, birçok insanın hayatını kaybetmesine ve yerinden edilmesine neden olmuştur. Türkiye 3,6 milyon Suriyeli sığınmacıya ev sahipliği yapmaktadır. Suriyeli sığınmacıların ülkemize göç etmesiyle birlikte sosyo-kültürel uyumun sağlanması oldukça önemli bir hale gelmiştir. Göç eden bireyler ile yerel halkın aynı dine mensup olmalarının bu uyum sürecini kolaylaştıracağı ve yüksek maneviyata sahip olmanın dini başa çıkmayı artırarak uyum sürecine etki edeceği düşünülmüştür. Bu çalışmanın genel amacı; sosyokültürel uyum ve maneviyat kavramları hakkında bilgi vermek, maneviyat kavramını psikolojik danışma kuramları içerisinde değerlendirmek ve sosyal hizmet ile maneviyat arasındaki ilişkiyi göç etmek durumunda kalan bireylere referansla incelemektir.
The Syrian Civil War, which started in 2011 and still continues, has caused many people to die and be displaced. Turkey hosts 3.6 million Syrian refugees. With the migration of Syrian refugees to our country, it has become very important to ensure socio-cultural harmony. It is thought that the fact that the migrating individuals and the local people belong to the same religion will facilitate their social adaptation process and that having high spirituality will facilitate the adaptation process by increasing religious coping. The purpose of this study is to give a general account of the concepts of sociocultural harmony and spirituality, to evaluate the concept of spirituality within psychological counseling theories and to examine the relationship between social work and spirituality with reference to individuals who have to migrate.
