Abstract:

Today, tooth whitening treatment has gained importance with increasing aesthetic expectations. Tooth discoloration can cause aesthetic problems; as a result, can lead to psychological and social problems. Whitening treatment removes effectively teeth discoloration. Agents of various concentrations in teeth whitening treatment are used with different techniques. Bleaching can be applied both at home and at the office with carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide. Over-the-counter products (OTC) applied in a similar vay to home bleaching techniques are also available. Bleaching treatment have been accepted by the public as a more conservative and economical method of improving the aesthetic appearance of the teeth.
