Abstract:

The aim of this study is to provide information on the Integral Pesticide Management work that can be done in order to manage the use of pesticides and prevent environmental pollution. In this study, the use of pesticides in the world, our country and the province of Bursa has been evaluated. Relationships between the annual amounts of pesticide species used in Bursa and agricultural products are also statistically calculated. The use of pesticides in Bursa is similar to in Europe and Turkey and the most consumed pesticide species are fungusites (59-80%) the least used are Nematosides and Mollusides. The agricultural production is proportional to the increase in population and exports, but there is a decline in the use of pesticides. The relationships between the use of acaricide and the field plants in Bursa, between the use of fungusite and herbicide and the fruit production, between the vegetable production and nemotosite, mollusites, insecticides and winter-winter oils and other pesticide species and fruit production have been statistically important (p<0,05) Fewer produced fruits than other products have been found to cause more use of herbicides and other pesticides. These findings have shown that the product species can be effective in pesticide consumption.
