The incidence of eating disorders (AT) and body image dissatisfaction (HF) is increasing in female students, due to gaining academic responsibility, inclusion in social groups and self-criticism. As a result, nutrition students are at greater risk of developing NT and HF due to specific knowledge about food and external pressures to maintain an unreachable body pattern due to their profession. The main objective of the research is to verify the prevalence of HF and risk for TA in nutrition students when compared to another course in the health area. For this, the Body Shape Questionare (BSQ), which verifies body dissatisfaction and the Eating Attituds Test (EAT-26), which evaluates eating patterns, was applied. The application took place through the sending of the questionnaires to the electronic addresses of the students of a Private University of the Rio dos Sinos Valley - RS. The following results were obtained: the total number of girls participating was 89, with a mean age of ± 24.66 years. The Nutrition students population showed strong body dissatisfaction (r = 0.766), whereas Physical Therapy students had moderate body dissatisfaction (r = 0, 609). It is concluded that female students of nutrition have higher body dissatisfaction when compared to female students of the Physiotherapy course, since they presented the prevalence of r = 0.766, in relation to the Physiotherapy course r = 0, 609.
