Abstract:

This study aims to evaluate the cartoons published on the TRT Children's Channel according to the achievements and indicators. The work group consists of 30 episodes of the cartoons "Kuzucuk", "Kare" and "Ege with Gaga". It is determined how frequently the development areas are placed in the reviewed cartoon parts. According to the research, the "Kuzucuk" cartoon has seen the most of the achievements in the field of cognitive development to K17; the most of the achievements in the field of social and emotional development to K5; the most of the achievements in the field of language development to K5. The achievements in the field of engine development were not seen in this cartoon. It has been found that one of the eight achievements for self-care skills has been placed 5 times. In the cartoon "Ege with Gaga" it is determined that the most of the achievements in the field of cognitive development are K1 and K2; the most of the social and emotional development are K5; the most of the language development are K5. Motor development has not been seen in this cartoon as well. For self-care skills, only 1 winner (K7) has been found 2 times. In the "Fourth" cartoon, K8 was most of the achievements in the field of cognitive development; K5 was most of the achievements in the field of social and emotional development; K5 was most of the achievements in the field of language development. The "Four" cartoon has been found 1 to 2 times (K1 and K2) from 5 gains towards Motor Development. For the self-care skills, in this cartoon only 1 winner (K3) was found.
