Amaç: Bu çalışmada, Ocak 2004-Aralık 2022 yılları arasında Türkiye’de sosyal bilimler alanında çocuk cinsel istismarı konusunda yazılmış lisansüstü tezlerinin bibliyometrik analizinin yapılması amaçlanmıştır. Yöntem: Tezlere ilişkin veriler, Yükseköğretim Kurulu Ulusal Tez Merkezi’nin veri tabanından elde edilmiştir. Tarama yapılırken, “cinsel istismar” ve “çocuk cinsel istismarı” “child sexual abuse”anahtar kelimeleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmada tezlerin lisansüstü düzeyleri, yayımlanma yılları, yayımlandığı üniversiteleri, danışman isimleri, sayfa sayıları, anahtar kelimeleri, araştırma yöntemleri konularında bulgular elde edilmiştir. Bulgular: Çalışmaya 92 tez dahil edilmiştir. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda, Türkiye’de sosyal bilimler alanında 41 farklı üniversitenin çocuk cinsel istismarı konusunun çalışıldığı, en fazla tezin Hacettepe Üniversitesi’nde yayımlandığı (%12), çalışmaların yoğunluğunun 2019 yılında arttığı, en çok yüksek lisans düzeyinde (%87), nicel desende ve doküman inceleme modeliyle (%51,1) tasarlandığı, en yoğun örneklem grubunu kanun metinlerinin oluşturduğu (%25) belirlenmiştir. Sonuç: Çocuk cinsel istismarı dünyada ve ülkemizde yeni bir konu olmamakla birlikte son yıllarda çalışmaların arttığı söylenebilir. Yapılan çalışmalarda, sıklıkla cinsel istismar mağdurlarının ve ailelerinin sosyo-demografik özelliklerine vurgu yapıldığı, bununla birlikte farklı meslek gruplarının (öğretmen, hemşire, hekim vb.) cinsel istismara ilişkin farkındalık düzeylerinin ölçüldüğü görülmüştür. Koruyucu ve önleyici araştırmaların cinsel istismarın yıkıcı etkilerini azaltacağı düşünüldüğünde bu çalışmaların da yaygınlaştırılması önerilmektedir. Konuya dair benzer desende yayımlanmış çalışmalar mevcut olsa da çalışmamız doğrudan sosyal bilimler alanında yayımlanmış lisansüstü çalışmaları kapsaması ve güncel verileri sunması yönüyle ön plana çıkmaktadır.
Purpose: In this study, between January 2004 and December 2022, the aim is to make a bibliometric analysis of the postgraduate theses written on child sexual abuse in the field of social sciences in Turkey. Method: The data relating to the theses are obtained from the database of the National Thesis Center of the Higher Education Council. During the scan, the keywords "sexual abuse" and "child sexual abuse" were used. In the study, findings were obtained on the subjects of the theses' postgraduate levels, publication years, the universities in which they were published, the names of consultants, page numbers, keywords, research methods. The results: 92 theses were included in the study. According to the study, 41 different universities in the field of social sciences in Turkey studied the subject of child sexual abuse, the most thesis was published at Hacettepe University (%12), the intensity of studies increased in 2019, the most at the master's level (%87), the quantum design and document study model (%51,1) designed, the most intense sample group was established by the law texts (%25). The result: Child sexual abuse is not a new topic in the world and in our country, but the study has increased in recent years. The studies often emphasized the socio-demographic characteristics of victims of sexual abuse and their families, with different professional groups (learers, nurses, doctors, etc.). The level of awareness of sexual abuse has been measured. As protective and preventive studies are considered to reduce the devastating effects of sexual abuse, these studies are also recommended to be spread. Although studies published in the similar draft on the subject are available, our study is in the forefront of covering the postgraduate studies published directly in the field of social sciences and providing up-to-date data.
Objective: This study aimed to conduct a bibliometric analysis of graduate theses written on child sexual abuse in the field of social sciences in Turkey between January 2004 and December 2022. Method: Data on theses were obtained from the database of the National Thesis Center of the Council of Higher Education. While searching, the keywords "sexual abuse" and "child sexual abuse" were used. In the study, findings were obtained on graduate levels, years of publication, universities, advisor names, number of pages, keywords, and research methods of the theses. Results: 92 theses were included in the study. As a result of the examination, it was determined that 41 different universities in the field of social sciences in Turkey studied the subject of child sexual abuse, the highest number of theses were published in Hacettepe University (%12), the intensity of the studies increased in 2019, most of the studies were designed at the master's level (%87), quantitative design and document review model (%51,1), and the densest sample group consisted of legal texts (% 25). Conclusion: Although child sexual abuse is not a new issue in the world and our country, it can be said that studies have increased in recent years. In the studies, it was observed that the socio-demographic characteristics of sexual abuse victims and their families were frequently emphasized, and the awareness levels of different professional groups (teachers, nurses, physicians, etc.) regarding sexual abuse were measured. Considering that preventive and preventive research will reduce the devastating effects of sexual abuse, it is recommended that these studies be expanded.
