Özet:

History of science is the history of people seeking to explore and understand the structure and functioning of nature. At the same time, science history also studies the theories in which some theoretical practices of science and experimental techniques are developed within the framework they draw, which enabling the development of science under certain historical conditions. Scientific history is written by scientific historians with a positive perspective until the 1930s. After the 1930s, the positive scientific history writing concept was strong, but it was criticized that this concept was not in accordance with the scientific history. In contrast to the positive history printing, the new history printing approaches, which emphasize the importance of social conditions in the development of science, are also formed in response to the attempt to show the inner consistency of the "great works" in science history and to draw attention to the role of the giants. Contrary to the predictions of positivism, this approach, which claims that observation and language of experiment, independent of theory in science, is impossible, adds scientific studies and historical and social elements to the progress of science. The history of science, also examines the theories that provide the development of science occurring in some conditions and in which expressive techniques are developed with its some practices. The history of science had been written with a positivist perspective until the 1930s. After the 1930s, although the positivist appreciation of the history of science writing was influential, there are criticisms including that this conception is not suitable for the history of science. Despite the fact that positivist historiography tries to reveal the internal consistency of "Great Works" and to call attention to the roles of geniuses, approaches of new historiography that point out the importance of social conditions are shaped in the development of science. Contrary to the visions of positivism, this approach, defending that dictionary of observation and experiment apart from theory is impossible involves historical and social elements in the progression of science as well as scientific studies.
