Abstract:

Purpose: Violence is a situation that seriously damages the productivity of workers, the organizational efficiency. 60% of the violence in the work area occurs in the health sector and parents and nurses are exposed to violence. Students who have been taught and taught in practice may also be affected by this situation. This study was conducted in order to identify the cases of violence in clinical practices of students studying in the abortion department. Method: The research, which is in the characteristic quality, was conducted with 163 students studying at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Atatürk between 22-26 February 2016. In the collection of data, a question form contained socio-demographic characteristics and expressions of violence was used. The findings: 62% of the students who participated in the study said they were violent and the average number of violent were 5.17±3.23. It is estimated that 45.5 percent of students who suffered violence suffered oral violence and 85.1 percent suffered violence by parents/hears. The increased age and age of students, they are more exposed to violence. The result: the majority of students were exposed to violence and the majority of those who acted for violence were parents/heirs. In order to prevent/minimize the conditions of exposure to violence by students, education in this regard should be enhanced, the responsibilities of parents/nurses in student education should be reviewed and necessary arrangements should be made.
