Abstract:

Araştırmada elde edilen veriler bilgisayar ortamına aktarılarak SPSS (Statiscial  Package for Social Sciences for Windows) 23 programı aracılığıyla değerlendirildi.

Title:Parents who have a child in the hospital Nurses with the family Central Nursing Care Interest Experiences Summary: This study was carried out with the aim of determining the experience of nursing parents who have a child in the hospital with the aim of determining the experience of nursing care based on the family.         Instrument and Method: Identificative and analytically planned research was carried out with the participation of 350 parents at the Sakarya Women's Birth and Child Diseases Hospital and the Sakarya University Education and Research Hospital. As a data collection tool, the question form and the Family-Centered Care Scale (AMBÖ) were used. The data received in the study was evaluated through the SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Sciences for Windows) 23 program. The findings: 89.7% of the parents who participated in the study found that they were taking part in the care of the child in the hospital, while the majority of those who did not take part in the care did not see it necessary. The indicative statistics of the points given to the AMBÖ found the average value of the levels of importance and consistency 4. The ingredients with the highest matching rate are "the nurse feels that my child is well cared" and "the nurse feels that the care they give to my child is good" while the ingredient with the lowest matching rate is "the nurse makes an explanation of the changes that may occur in my child's situation." The result: Nurses in relation to family-centered care practices felt that the care they provide to the family and children was good; but it was found that the parents needed more information about the care given to the child and the changes in the child's condition. Parents who were in emergency and stayed in the hospital for 7 days or more were more satisfied with the nurses' family-centered care practices.
