Abstract:

The main objective of this study is to determine whether young voters are divided into groups in terms of their interests in politics and political participation. It will also be considered whether there are differences in the framework of the collections established in terms of the demographic characteristics of young voters. In accordance with these purposes, 401 available surveys were included in the research that applied to students who continued their studies in the center of the Suleyman Demirel University and were selected by simple random sampling method. In the framework of the research, we have implemented Cluster Analysis (Cluster Analysis) and Varyans Analysis (One-Way ANOVA) to get access to the voter sections and to reveal detailed information about these sections. After these analyses, two groups of voters, named Uncertain and Uncertain, were identified. There are also statistically significant differences in the demographic characteristics.
