Tabiat durumu, toplum kavramının gelişmesinden önceki dönemi ifade eden bir kavramsallaştırmadır. Filozoflar tabiat durumunu toplum haline geçişi ve siyasal yapıların kuruluşunu gerekçelendirmek için ele alırlar. Siyaset felsefesi yapan filozoflardan Platon’un, Rousseau’nun, Hobbes’un ve Nietzsche’nin tabiat durumuyla ilgili tasvirlerini distopik kurmacalarda da görmek mümkündür. Adı geçen filozoflar doğa durumunu bir çeşit savaş olarak yorumlarlar. Çünkü doğa durumunda iç tepi ve isteklerin egemenliği altındaki insanların birbirleriyle ilişkilerini düzenleyen normlar ortadan kalkmış, doğal kaynaklardan faydalanmak muharebe düzenini zorunlu hale getirmiştir. Toplum yaşamına geçiş bu muharebe düzenini ortadan kaldıran ahlaki ve siyasal normların gelişmesinden doğar. Distopik eserlerdeki hem doğa hem de toplumsal yaşamla ilgili öngörüleri doğa durumuna geri dönüş olarak yorumlamak mümkündür. Mad Max Fury Road (George Miller, 2015) filminde de insanların bir arada yaşamasını mümkün hale getiren tüm normların ortadan kalktığı ve yaşamsal kaynakların güç sahiplerinin kontrolünde olduğu bir yaşam biçimi anlatılır. Bu yaşam biçimine ait tasvirler doğa durumu tasvirleriyle benzerlik gösterir. Bu çalışmanın amacı Mad Max Fury Road filmi örneği üzerinden doğa durumu ve distopik tasavvurlar arasındaki ilişkiyi politik kuramlardaki doğa durumu yaklaşımlarıyla çözümlemektir. Çözümlemede ilgili filozofların doğa durumu tasavvurlarına değinilecek ve filmdeki sinemasal imgeler bu tasavvurlarla yorumlanacaktır.
The state of nature is a conceptualization that represents the period before the development of the concept of society. The philosophers deal with the state of nature to the transition to society and to justify the formation of political structures. From political philosophers, it is also possible to see Platon, Rousseau, Hobbes, and Nietzsche's pictures of the state of nature in distopic scenes. The philosophers describe the state of nature as a kind of war. For in nature, the norms that regulate the relations between the people under the domination of the inner mountains and desires have disappeared, and the use of natural resources has made the fighting system compulsory. The transition to the life of society arises from the development of moral and political norms that eradicate this fighting order. The predictions of both nature and social life in distopic works can be interpreted as a return to the state of nature. Mad Max Fury Road (George Miller, 2015) also tells us a way of life in which all the norms that make it possible for people to live together disappear and life resources are under the control of power owners. The images of this way of life are similar to the images of nature. The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between the state of nature and distopic designs through the example of the Mad Max Fury Road film through the approaches of the state of nature in political theories. The resolution will refer to the philosophers' natural status drawings, and the cinematic images in the film will be interpreted by these drawings.
