Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı öğretmen algılarına göre okul yöneticilerinin paylaşılan liderlik davranışları ve okul iklimi arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırma nicel araştırma modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modeli altında yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada Aslan (2015) tarafından geliştirilen Okul Örgütlerinde Paylaşılan Liderlik Ölçeği ve Özdere (2017) tarafından geliştirilen Okul İklimi Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmadaki veriler 2022-2023 Eğitim Öğretim yılında İstanbul ili Kağıthane ilçesinde görev yapan 246 gönüllü katılımcılarla yapılan anket çalışması sonucunda oluşturulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda İstanbul ilindeki okul müdürlerinin paylaşılan liderlik davranışlarına yönelik öğretmen algılarında; cinsiyet değişkenine göre anlamlı farklılık olmadığı, okul iklimi algılarında ise anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu saptanmıştır. Her iki ölçeğe yönelik öğretmen algılarında yaş, mesleki kıdem, öğrenim durumu değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı saptanmıştır. Ayrıca araştırmanın bulgularına göre okul müdürlerinin liderlik davranışları ile okul iklimi arasında pozitif yönlü, orta düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişkinin olduğu ortaya koyulmuştur.

Abstract:

The aim of this research is to examine the relationship between school administrators' shared leadership behaviors and school climate according to teacher perceptions. This research was conducted under the relational survey model, one of the quantitative research models. The Shared Leadership Scale in School Organizations developed by Aslan (2015) and the School Climate Scale developed by Özdere (2017) were used in the research. The data in this research was created as a result of the survey conducted with 246 volunteer participants working in Kağıthane district of Istanbul in the 2022-2023 academic year. As a result of the research, in the perceptions of teachers about shared leadership behaviors of school principals in Istanbul; It was determined that there was no significant difference according to the gender variable, and there was a significant difference in school climate perceptions. It was determined that there was no significant difference in teacher perceptions for both scales according to age, professional seniority, and educational status variables. In addition, according to the findings of the research, it was revealed that there is a positive, moderately significant relationship between the leadership behaviors of the school principals and the school climate.
