Abstract:

The Turkish-Greek population exchange is a multi-dimensional phenomenon that has social and psychological traces. As two million Turkish and Romanian citizens have made them forced to leave their homeland, the problems and disputes arising in this scope have been the scene of a number of social and psychological events. The troubleshooting problem, which caused them to live as a socially excluded society from the point of view of the Turks and Romans, has also brought the fact of exclusion as a thumb of social integration. The emotions of excitement cause the need to belong (need to belong) and the need to protect self-esteem (self-esteem). In this study, the processes in which the problems occur together with the exchange, referring to psychological and social traces, addressed the emotions that could threaten the need to belong to the fact that the different factors contain within, such as exclusion, self-activation, uncertainty, invaluation.
