This study aims to determine the influence of continual and interval training programes (three times in a week and eight weeks) on the body weight, body fat percentage, aerobic and anaerobic potency values. The voluntary participants were randomly divided into three groups as control test A (n=15), test B (n=15) and test K (n=15). The voluntary participants in group K did not undergo any exercise program. Group A 4800 metres by the continual races method (% 80 intensity of maximal heartbeat number), group B ran 4800 m. measurement (4 .600 m., 2 sets) by the interval training method (% 90 intensity of maximal heartbeat number). were taken one week before and after the training program. For determining the difference between the proper degrees, t test was applied; as for determining the difference between groups anova was applied. After the training program was applied, it was concluded that while the continual training program has influences on the body weight, body fat percentage and anaerobic potency values (p<0,01), interval training program has no effect on the body weight, body fat percentage and anaerobic potency values (p>0,05)
