Abstract:

Some settlements located in the Anatolian geography, which is a cultural and civilizational border, have come to the forefront in the field of culture and literature compared to some settlements. Isparta, which is one of these places, known as 'the land of roses and lakes', is an important crossroads located on the western side of Anadolu. The history of the city can be brought to the early ages, but the city’s development period is at the time of the Hamido-Sons. In the Ottoman era, the Isparta, which became the center of HamidSancağı, has been educated by many scientists, politicians, artists, etc. In this study, the Sicill-i Osmânî, which is included in the work of Mehmed Süreyyâ, has been identified by the three hundred and nine people who have grown up around it and the four people who are Ispartali in terms of origin. These names are female, madris, naip, vezir, and the various professional groups of the state men and the sheh. This is about the characteristics of those characters in the work. There are also information about the biographies of other people.
