Abstract:

From the last three centuries to the present day, the West has progressed towards becoming the dominant power of the world, and it has a tendency to continue this superiority with the global system it tries to establish. This hegemony, which is usually intended to become continuity on the people of the Middle East, in particular on the east, is a process that is entirely related to the Western view of the east. In the west, new places discovered and the east is a geography that leaves the door to wealth. The Middle East, which has rich subterranean resources and a wide market in this direction, is bringing the colonials to this geography. Europe, which carried out the Industrial Revolution, with the knowledge and technology it obtained, produces strategies toward world domination, while imperialist policies lead in this direction. Colonial competition is seen as the most fundamental element that led to the two world wars in the first half of the twentieth century. These countries, which have led to millions of deaths after these wars, are among the most advanced countries in the world, despite all these destruction. In this study we will try to focus on the reasons for the development difference between any Western country and a country in the Middle East. The Middle East, despite its rich subterranean resources and the financial resources obtained from it, will be attempted to deal with a historical view of why it is still unable to get rid of the status of a less developed country and the modern colonialism.
