Abstract:

Title:The relationship between self-righteousness and social distribution in individuals who have been identified as substantial dependence:The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-righteousness and social exclusion perceptions in individuals who have been identified as substantial dependence. Method and method: The study included 207 patients who were treated in a hospital. The data collection tool has been used as the “Identificative Information Form”, “Identity Assessment Scale-Short Form” and “Social Exclusion Scale”. The data of the study was collected between 10 July and 10 October 2018 in the form of the application of the survey forms by consulting each other at more and more appropriate hours at the AMATEM service where patients were treated. The data is SPSS 25. In the 0 package program, it was evaluated using frequency, percentage, arithmetic average, standard deviation, Spearman correlation test, Mann Whitney U, Kruskal-Wallis H tests. Results and Results: 83.1% of participants are men, 35.7% are between 26 and 35 years of age, 71.5%, single, 40.3% are high school graduates and 60.9% are not working in any job.  The study found that the percentage of those who thought they were socially excluded due to the use of the substance was 84.5%. When the relationship between participants’ self-esteem and perceptions of social exclusion is examined, the positive self-esteem and material absence (r=-.20, p<.05), social rights absence (r=-.42, p<.01) and social participation (r=-29, p<.01) have been determined in a negative direction. The negative perceptions of the participants and social participation (r=21, p<.05) and cultural integration (r=.14, p<.05) have found a positive meaningful relationship. It has been revealed that the perceptions of social exclusion of substance-dependent individuals are affected by self-respect. As a result, individuals who participated in the research and were diagnosed with drug addiction in AMATEM found that their self-esteem was high and their perceptions of social exclusion were perceived towards themselves at a medium level.
