Abstract:

The purpose of this study includes the comparison of the relation between the demographic variables of life and job satisfaction levels of the educational staff of physical education departments. The life satisfaction scale developed by Diener, Emmons, Larsen and Griffin in the U.S.A. in 1983 has been used in this study. There are a total of 10 questions, 5 regarding life satisfaction and 5 job satisfaction. Besides there these, are 21 questions comparing demographic variables. The research has been carried out on a total number of 161 educational staff, 42 female, 119 male.who work at the departments of Physical Education and Sports Faculties of 11 universities in different regions throughout Turkey. The statistical analysis of the data gathered has been evaluated at E. U. BA UM. As a results of the research, in the comparison of the status with life and job satisfaction, a significant difference at a level of .05 has been concluded.
