Abstract:

The aim of this study is to reveal the opinions of eighth-class students about the use of the video modules in the Science Course of the Education Information Network (EBA). This study was carried out by quality research patterns. The participants of the study are 10 students who are studying in the eighth class in a secondary school located in the province of Tuşba in the 2020-2021 educational year. The data of the study was collected in a semi-configured interview form consisting of five questions. The interviews were conducted online through the ZOOM program due to the Covid-19 epidemic that affects our country. The data obtained in the study is analyzed by visual and content analysis. When the results of the study were examined, eighth class students pointed out the benefits of EBA video modules in the form of addressing multiple sensory organs, providing themes to learn fun, helping them to strengthen, addressing themes clearly and clearly. On the contrary, students expressed that the topics were superficially addressed, it made it difficult to focus on the lesson, that the videos caused short and mental fatigue, as the limitations of the EBA video modules. Students also pointed out that the EBA video modules have disadvantages during use in school, so they will be more efficient to take advantage of the video modules in the individual speeds at home. To better understand the importance of the EBA video modules for the Science course, it is recommended to be carried out with students in different teaching stages.
