Öz Bu çalışmanın amacı üniversite öğrencilerinin toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin tutumlarını ve bu tutumların cinsiyet ve cinsiyet rollerine göre değişimini incelemektir. 230 kadın ve 193 erkek olmak üzere toplam 433 katılımcıya BEM Cinsiyet Rolleri Envanteri, Toplumsal Cinsiyet Rolleri Tutum Ölçeği ve kişisel bilgi formu uygulanmıştır. Bu araştırmada kadın öğrencilerin % 47’sinin erkeksi, %39’unun belirsiz, %12’sinin androjen ve % 2’sinin kadınsı cinsiyet rolüne sahip olduğu görülmüştür. Erkek öğrencilerin ise %35’inin erkeksi, %37’sinin belirsiz, %23’ünün androjen ve % 5’inin kadınsı cinsiyet rolüne sahip oldukları belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın ikinci bulgusuna göre toplumsal cinsiyet rollerine ilişkin tutumlar, cinsiyete göre anlamlı olarak farklılaşmaktadır. Buna göre kadın öğrencilerin, erkek öğrencilere göre daha eşitlikçi tutumlar benimsedikleri bulunmuştur. Son olarak, kadın cinsiyet rolü, erkek cinsiyet rolü, evlilikte cinsiyet rolü ve geleneksel cinsiyet rolü ile ilgili tutumlar açısından cinsiyet rolleri kategorileri arasında anlamlı fark olduğu görülmüştür. Bulgular literatürdeki bilgiler ışığında tartışılmıştır.
The aim of this study is to study the attitudes of university students towards social gender roles and the change of these attitudes according to gender and gender roles. A total of 433 participants, including 230 women and 193 men, have been applied to the BEM Gender Roles Inventory, Social Gender Roles Attitude Scale and Personal Information Form. The study found that 47% of female students were male, 39% uncertain, 12% androgenic and 2% female. 35% of male students were male, 37% uncertain, 23% androgenic and 5% female. According to the second findings of the study, attitudes regarding social gender roles vary significantly by gender. Women’s students are more equal than men’s students. Finally, there has been a significant difference between the categories of gender roles in terms of the gender role of the woman, the gender role of the man, the gender role in marriage and the attitudes related to the traditional gender role. The findings are discussed in the light of the information in literature.
