In this study, it has been discussed how branding practices are applied on destinations by considering the intensive branding efforts of destinations. Inlight of these practices, noteworthy branding efforts and the branding position of thecity Tarsus which has an enormous richness, and the facilities has been held in this branding process, has been identified. Thus, things to do to make Tarsus a destination brand has been tried to explain. In this study, an in-depthinterview has been made with 12 responders by using qualitative research method. Inthelight of these interviews, situation of the destination branding process of Tarsus and things to do in this process has been analysed and explained. Also, the strengths and weaknesses of Tarsus has been tried to reveal by using SWOT Analysis. It has been tried to explain how to preserve strengths and remove weaknesses
