Bir ulusun aynı endüstriye ait olan bir ürünü hem ithal hem de ihraç edebildiği uluslararası ticaret türü olarak adlandırılan endüstri içi ticaret kavramı 2. Dünya Savaşı?ndan sonra bazı dış ticaret teorilerinin yetersiz kalması sonucunda daha fazla dikkat çeken bir yapı olarak karşımıza çıkmaya başlamıştır. Grubel ve Lloyd?un önemli katkıları sayesinde bu kavram iktisat yazınında yer edinmiş ve günümüzde de uluslararası ticaret literatüründe önemli bir kavram olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Bu bağlamda Türkiye?nin 2019 yılının temel alındığı en fazla ihracat ve ithalat gerçekleştirdiği ilk 20 ürün grubunun 2013-2019 yılları arasındaki endüstri içi ticaret ağırlıkları Grubel-Lloyd endeksi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda 11 ürün grubunun hem ihracatta hem de ithalatta ilk 20 ürün grubu arasında yer almasından dolayı toplamda 29 ürün grubunun endüstri içi ticaret endeksleri hesaplanmıştır. Elde edilen analiz sonuçlarına göre 15 ürün grubunun endüstri içi ticaret yapısı gösterdiği, 14 ürün grubunda ise endüstriler arası ticaret yapısının hâkim olduğu görülmüştür.
The concept of intra-industrial trade, called the type of international trade in which a nation may both import and export a product belonging to the same industry. After the World War, some theories of foreign trade have not been sufficient, and it has begun to appear to us as a more attractive structure. Thanks to the important contributions of Grubel and Lloyd, this concept has become a part of the economy and is present to us today as an important concept in international trade literature. In this context, the industrial trade weights of the first 20 product groups in which Turkey made the most exports and imports based on the year 2019 between 2013-2019 were analyzed using the Grubel-Lloyd index. According to the study, 11 product groups were ranked among the top 20 product groups in both export and import, and the total of 29 product groups calculated the industrial trade index. According to the results of the analysis, 15 product groups showed an industrial trade structure, while 14 product groups showed an inter-industrial trade structure.
