Abstract:

Textile is a very broad concept that covers all processes from the first raw material to the product and the instructions for use and offers products shaped according to the technological advances, from the most basic needs to the fashion flows. Each area of use is structure, shape, fabric, appearance, etc. It requires differences. Thus, the recognizability of the production and material diversity emerging in each section is provided by special classifications and designations developed according to their characteristics. In the textile industry, some products have their own properties at the moment of production, some become the final product with techniques such as finish processes or cutting. Today, thanks to technological systems, Matelasse fabric formed in the production processes and separated from the terms of yorganization or capitone in this regard, is thick, composite structures manufactured using filling material between two fabric rigs. The term matelasse was used for fabric that is the traditional craftsmanship of the state of Marseille (France) and is manufactured by the imitation of the captains made with the arrangement technique, and these fabrics were considered as part of the women's clothes in the interior pockets. The popularity of this fabric, which is increasing and quite remarkable, has become preferred in many clothes before being converted into a fashion product and then has been developed jacket systems for rapid production. The fabric, which assessed the physical and technical characteristics for use in different functions, has been patented and produced in various versions. Even though this patent information has been developed by famous fashionists at the ultra-level level, it is used in collections and a brand face, it is not much found in the literature research that deals with the production processes and the technical point of view. In the companies that produce in this direction, it is referred to with various names such as capitone, pike, pocket pocket. In this study, which is addressed in order to provide the common use of the term, production and technical characteristics and sampling; the rolling/covered surface, rich pattern capabilities, soft tissue characteristics and the use area increased in Matelasse tissues, tissue and molding tissue groups. Literature and field work with the history of the matelasse fabric, technical characteristics, production methods, etc. The information obtained about it was evaluated, technical analysis was made and fabric simulations were prepared.
