Özet:

The first census of the Republic of Turkey was held on 28 October 1927. In this census the population has increased more than expected. However, the nature of the population was not at the desired level. Across the country, education, employment and a shortage of qualified staff from these results that are presented in a clear format. The major purpose of the census t already done for determining the characteristics of the population and taking the necessary measures in accordance with the needs of nature was to develop. Accordingly, especially in the field of education has emerged as much distance to be overcome. In this study, according to the 1927 census, populations of Malatya properties are discussed. Population density, solid-disabled population, marital status, literacy rates, business lines, age groups, and religious beliefs as the main language spoken structures are discussed. According to our results Malatya Malatya province in eastern Anatolia compared to population characteristics is a very good condition. The average population of the province close to Turkey has increased in many ways. In this province of the Ottoman Empire in the sub-structure is an important factor to be strong. Malatya in 1927, agriculture, commerce and industry terms is relatively developed province. However, this development is not enough, of course. However XIX.
