Okul öncesi dönem, insan yaşamında ve gelişim evreleri içerisinde oldukça önemli bir öneme sahiptir. Bu dönemde çocukların bilişsel, psikomotor, sosyal ve duygusal gelişimlerinde önemli değişimler yaşanmaktadır. Çocukların gelişimlerinin sağlıklı bir şekilde ilerlemesi, içinde bulundukları çevrenin fiziksel, sosyo-ekonomik, kültürel ve ahlaki özellikleriyle yakından ilişkilidir. Okul öncesi dönemde çocuğun haklarını bilmesinin yanında bu hakları kullanmayı da bilmesi beklenmektedir. 2013 okul öncesi eğitim programında çocuk haklarına yönelik doğrudan bir kazanıma, dolaylı olarak da birçok kazanıma yer verilmiştir. Bu araştırmanın amacı okul öncesi eğitimine devam edem eden 48-72 ay grubu çocukların çocuk hakları algılarının incelenmesidir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma desenlerinden fenomoloji (olgu bilim) deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunun oluşturulmasında seçkisiz olmayan örnekleme yöntemlerinden, amaçsal örnekleme yönteminin bir tekniği olan maksimum çeşitlilik örnekleme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma İstanbul, Van ve Diyarbakır illerinde bulunan 4 anaokulunda yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın verilerini çiz-anlat tekniği ile çocukların resimleri ve çocuklarla sözlü olarak yapılan görüşmeler oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın veri analizinde içerik analizi kullanılmıştır. Çocukların yaptığı resimler neticesinde 10 tema oluşmuştur. Çocukların en fazla ifade ettikleri hak kavramının “oyun oynamak” olduğu görülmüştür. Veri analiz sürecinde ortaya çıkan bazı temaların çocuk hakları ilkelerinden bir kategoride olmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda çocukların birçoğunda çocuk hakkı kavramının var olduğu fakat bu kavrama dair davranış bilgisinin yeterli düzeyde gelişmediği görülmüştür. Araştırma bulguları doğrultusunda bazı önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
The pre-school period has a very important role in human life and in the development stages. During this period there are significant changes in the cognitive, psychomotor, social and emotional development of children. The progression of children’s healthy development is closely related to the physical, socio-economic, cultural and moral characteristics of the environment in which they are. In the early days of school, the child should know how to use the rights of the child. In the 2013 Pre-School Education Program, I have received a direct and indirect earnings on the rights of children. The purpose of this study is to study the perceptions of the rights of the children of the 48-72 months group who are able to continue their pre-school education. The research has used phenomological (evolutionary) patterns from the quality research patterns. In the creation of the work group, from non-selective sampling methods, the maximum variety sampling technique, which is a technique of the target sampling method, has been used. The study was conducted in 4 kindergartens located in Istanbul, Van and Diyarbakır. The data of the research is composed of the chart-telling technique, the pictures of children and the oral conversations with children. In the data analysis of the study, content analysis was used. The children’s paintings have 10 themes. The child’s most expressed concept of rights is “playing”. Some of the topics arising in the data analysis process have been found not in a category of child rights principles. The research has found that many children have the concept of child rights, but the behavioral knowledge of this concept has not developed adequately. Some research findings have been suggested.
