So many results that aren't mine?

Abstract:

Body fat distribution is an important indicator of health risk associated with obesity. Excess abdominal adiposity increases risk for hypertension, type II diabetes, hyperlipidemia and coronary artery disease. The aim of this study was to evaluate some anthropometric characteristics of female students in a university dormitory in terms of obesity related health risks. This descriptive study was carried out between October-November 2017 with 488 female students staying in the dormitory of Firat university. Data were collected with a questionnaire, Body Mass Index (BMI), waist / hip circumference and waist circumference / stature length was calculated. The mean age of the students was 20,5 ± 1,4 years, 14,5% were smoking, 79,9% were skipping meals, 28,1% are not satisfied with their bodies, 1,2% were dieting and 74,2% were inactive. 12.5% were overweight or obese (≥25.0). 10.7% of students’ waist circumference were 80cm and above. There was no statistically significant relationship between meal skipping and physical inactivity status and BMI values (p> 0.05).
