Abstract:

Bu çalışmada Cumhuriyet Döneminde Güneydoğu Anadolu Bölgesinde tasavvufa genel bir bakış açısıyla Seyda Seyyid Ali Fındıkî’nin hayatı ve tasavvufî kişiliği ile ilgili bilgi verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu sebeple önce “Seyda Seyyid Ali Fındıkî’nin Hayatı” başlığı altında nesebi, evliliği, hayat tarzı ve yaşadığı yerler anlatılmış olup daha sonra da ilmî kişiliği, eserleri vb. konular ele alınmıştır. Son olarak Seyda Seyyid Ali’nin tasavvufî y.nü incelenmiş ve tarikata intisabı ve halifeliği hakkında bilgi verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Fındıkî’ye göre tarikat icâzeti aldığı şeyhleri Şeyh Muhammed Said Seyda el-Cezerî ve Basretli Şeyh İbrahim Hakkı’nın hayatlarına kısaca değinilmiştir.
