Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ün ölümünün ardından Cumhurbaşkanı seçilen İsmet İnönü, 1950 yılına kadar bu görevini sürdürmüştür. On iki yıllık süre içerisinde TBMM’de üç dönem yaşanmıştır: 1939’da başlayan VI. Dönem 1943’de başlayan VII. Dönem 1946’da başlayan VIII. Dönem. Bu makalede 1939-1950 yılları arasındaki üç dönemde Meclis’e görev yapan kadın milletvekillerinin çalışmaları incelenmiştir.
