Abstract:

In this study; regional directorates of the General Directorate of Tea Enterprises (ÇAYKUR) which is one of our economic agencies are optimized. Cost minimization was carried out by optimization of distribution activities between ÇAYKUR authorized sale points and regional directorates. to optimize regional directorates of the General Directorate of Tea Enterprises(ÇAYKUR) K-means Clustering Analysis method, which is one of the machine learning technique and nonlinear programming method which is one of the operations research technique, were used. 125 authorized sale points were divided into 9 regions and the sale points that should be located in these territories were determined by k-means clustering analysis. The distance of regional directorates to the sale points in the region, obtained results from k-means clustering analysis and nonlinear programming method were compared. According to our findings, when coordinates obtained by two methods are used as hybrid, the route becomes much shorter.
