Tasavvuf tarihinin on iki büyük tarikatından olan Kübrevîyye’nin Hemedânîyye kolunun kurucusu Mîr Seyyid Ali Hemedânî hem irfân açısından hem siyaset açısından VIII. Yüzyılın etkin sûfîleri arasında yer alır. Neseben Seyyid olan ve Alî-yi Sânî olarak da tanınan Mîr Hemedânî yaşadığı asırda ilim, irşâd ve seyâhatları ile İslâm âleminde oldukça etkin bir isim olmuştur. Hemedâni irşad faaliyetlerini, kaleme aldığı eserler, seyahatler ve zamanın padişah ve yöneticilerine gönderdiği risâlelerle sürdürmüştür. Hayatı, mücadeleci karakteri, kaleme aldığ yüzü aşkın eserlerinin incelenmesinin büyük önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmamızda Bedehşan hâkimi Behremşah’ın talebi üzerine Hemedânî’nin kaleme aldığı risâleyi ele aldık. Önce kısaca Hemedâni’nin hayatı hakkında bilgi verilmiş ardından ilgili eser incelenmiştir.
