Bitkisel tasarımda budanarak kullanılan bitkiler kullanıldıkları mekanlara estetik ve fonksiyonel birçok katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Antalya ili kent merkezinde bulunan 9 adet parkta bitkisel tasarımda budanarak kullanılan bitki türlerinin, budanmış türlerin kullanım yerlerinin, budanma çeşitlerinin ve budanmış türlerin sahip olduğu fonksiyonel katkıların belirlenmesidir. Çalışmanın materyalini, Antalya ili Konyaaltı ve Muratpaşa merkez ilçe-lerinde bulunan mahalle parkı, semt parkı ve kent parkı olmak üzere 3 farklı statüdeki toplam 9 adet park ve bu parklarda budanarak kullanılan bitki türleri oluşturmaktadır. Parklardaki bitkisel tasarımlarda budanarak kullanılan bitki türleri, budama şekilleri, parklardaki kullanım yerleri ve üstlendikleri fonksiyonel görevler, parklarda yapılan gözlemler ile belirlenmiştir. Toplam 9 adet parkta budanarak kullanılan bitki tür sayısının 56 olduğu ve bunlardan 12’sinin ağaç, 40’ının çalı ve 4’ünün sarılıcı bitki türlerinden oluştuğu belirlenmiştir. Parkların geneline bakıldığında, hem tür hem de kullanılan birey sayısı açısından budanmış türlerin büyük çoğunluğunu çalıların oluşturduğu belirlenmiştir. Türlere daha çok şekil verme ve gençleştirme budaması yapıldığı ve budanmış türlerin çoğunlukla park içi yürüyüş yolları kenarında, park içi yeşil alanlarda, plastik elemanların çevrelerinde ve süs havuzu kenarlarında kullanıldığı saptanmıştır. Sağladıkları fonksiyonel katkılar bakımından budanmış türler değerlendirildiğinde ise en fazla sınırlama ve yönlendirme görevleri üstlendikleri ortaya konulmuştur.
The plants used in plant design make a lot of aesthetic and functional contributions to the places they use. The aim of this study is to identify the functional contributions of the plant species used in the plant design in 9 parks located in the city centre of Antalya, the places of use of the plant species, the varieties of the plant and the functional contributions of the plant species. The material of the study consists of a total of 9 parks in 3 different states, including neighborhood parks, neighborhood parks and city parks, located in the central districts of Antalya or Konyaaltı and Muratpaşa, and the plant species used in these parks. The species of plants used in plant designs in parks, the forms of planting, the places of use in parks and the functional tasks they carry on, are determined by observations in parks. In total, the number of plant species used in 9 parks was 56 and 12 of them consisted of trees, 40 of them of trees, and 4 of them of hunting plants. With regard to the general parks, it has been determined that the vast majority of the species that have been planted in terms of both species and the number of individuals used are made up of trees. It has been found that the species are more shaped and rejuvenated and that the shaped species are mostly used on the edge of the park’s walking roads, in the park’s green spaces, around the plastic elements and on the edge of the decorative swimming pool. When the types are assessed in terms of functional contributions they provide, it is revealed that they have taken the most limitation and guidance tasks.
