Abstract:

The aim of this study is to study the skills of primary school managers to possess visionary leadership qualities. The method of research is the visual scan. The universe of research is composed of 367 teachers and managers who work in the official educational institutions associated with the Aksaray province. In the process of collecting data, the entire universe is being reached. 30 recommendations were given to determine the opinions of teachers and managers on the visionary leadership of school managers. In the analysis of the recommendations in the survey, a four-degree rating form of the Likert Scale developed by Rensis LIKERT was preferred. In the analysis of data the frequency, average and standard deviation are calculated and the t test for independent groups on the collected data is interpreted by the one-way variance analysis (ANOVA) and the Scheffe test in substances that make meaningful differences to demonstrate differences. Research finds that female teachers are more engaged in participating in the vision than their male colleagues. 40-44 year old teachers have concluded that the level of showing the visionary leadership behavior of school managers is more negative than the other age group teachers, and 50 year old teachers are more positive. It has been found that class teachers’ perceptions that the school vision is adopted by all employees are higher than the branch teachers.
