Abstract:

Like most things today, culture has its share of technology; unlike its traditional structure, culture - and all kinds of stakeholders it contains - has evolved towards digitalization. With the unceasing nature and development of technology, the possibility of multimedia and wallless communication; at the same time, it influenced all the dynamics of society - politics, economy, law, education, health, security, culture and art… - and this situation paved the way for the emergence and development of a new field. In line with the concept of "digital -or digitalization-", the technology-supported new field has had the opportunity to melt all the components in the same pot with the unlimited development and rules it has acquired in the process. The concept representing the process of transferring the dynamics of society to online environment through digital systems; It has created a unique environment in terms of the qualities it has and will be, and the environment in question has turned into a culture that includes all the traditional elements of humanity. The digital ecosystem created by the combination of every element in the digital environment is quite remarkable in this sense. The Turkish Fairy Tale Collection - I Project, which is a digital narrative, one of the stakeholders of digital culture, can be described as an initiative that aims to digitize the tales that are the transmitters of culture, regardless of whether they are national or international. With the related study, it is aimed to give information about the "TÜMAK - I Project", a project that is transformed into action for the digitalization of fairy tales, and to examine the project in the context of digital culture.
