Abstract:

The mathematical development of children, which begins in very early stages, is supported by pre-school mathematical activities. The activities that are structured in accordance with their interests by taking the children to the center ensure that the educational process is also effective. The key to being effective is that the child loves the activity he does. This study was conducted with the aim of "The Matematics for Children's Love Scale (CMS) Validity and Trust Study". The study’s work group in the 2016-2017 educational year in Kahramanmaraş Onikişubat district forms a total of 100 children, including 50 boys, 50 girls, 54-60 months and 61-66 months of education in the official independent kindergartens. The research has been used by the methods of research. To the objective of the research, the "Mathematics for Children Love Scale" was developed. The SPSS 22 statistical package program has been used for the validity and reliability of the scale calculations. To calculate the validity of the measurement, the scope and structure validity have been considered and the opening factor analysis has been made. To calculate the reliability of the measurement, the test re-test method was applied and the internal consistency ratio (Cronbach Alpha) was considered; for each substance separate substance differentiability ratio was calculated. For the purpose of measuring the age group is small and the consistency of the answers given, 15 days pre-test and final test were made for the same scale. Analysis has shown that the Matematics Love Measurement for Children (CMS) is a valid and reliable measurement tool for children aged 54-66.
