İŞ STRESİ, İŞ TATMİNİ VE SOSYAL DESTEĞİN BİÇİMLEYİCİ ROLÜ

Abstract:

Bireylerin; psikolojik olarak mesleki tatmini ve temel ihtiyaçlarını karşılamak için yaptıkları iş ve çalışma alanlarının özellikleri oldukça önemlidir. Bu bağlamda bireylerin kişilik özelliklerini ve yeteneklerini tam olarak yansıtamadıkları çalışma sahaları iş tatmininde olumsuz etkilere neden olmaktadır. Bireylerin kişilik özelliklerini daha iyi tanıması ve değişken durumlara bu özellikleri sağlıklı bir şekilde aktarabilmesi son derece önemlidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, kişilik özelliklerinin iş yaşantısına olan etkisi, stres ve iş tatmininde sosyal desteğin rolü ve bu desteğin hangi durumlarda ne düzeyde yaşanacağı, iş yerinde ne gibi farklılıklar meydana getirebileceği konular hakkında bilgiler vermektir. Araştırmanın birinci bölümünde iş stresi, iş tatmini hakkında literatür araştırması verilmiştir. İkinci bölümde, iş stresi, sosyal destek ilişkisi ve iş tatmin modellerinden bahsedilmiştir. Yine bu bölümde kişilik, kişisel özelliklerin iş tatmini ile ilişkisi üzerinde durulmuştur. Üçüncü bölümde iş stresi, iş tatmini ve sosyal desteğin biçimleyici rolü hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Son bölümde elde edilen bilgiler doğrultusunda, iş stresi ve sosyal destek arasında negatif bir bağ bulunduğu, iş tatmini ve sosyal destek arasındaki pozitif yönde bir ilişkinin bulunduğu, iş tatmininde cinsiyet farklılıklarının gözlenmediği, iş tatmininin artan bir eğitim düzeyi ile azaldığı ve eğitim düzeyi ile iş tatmini arasında daha karmaşık, doğrusal olmayan bir ilişki olduğu gözlenmiştir. Abstract:

The characteristics of the fields of work and work that individuals do to meet their psychological professional satisfaction and basic needs are very important. In this context, the work spaces where individuals are unable to fully reflect their personality characteristics and abilities have negative effects on work satisfaction. It is extremely important for individuals to better understand their personality characteristics and to be able to transmit these characteristics in a healthy way to the variable situations. The aim of this study is to provide information about the impact of personality characteristics on the work life, the role of social support in stress and work satisfaction and what levels of this support will be experienced in which situations, what differences can occur in the workplace. In the first part of the study, a literary study on work stress, work satisfaction was given. In the second section, we discuss work stress, social support relationships and business satisfaction models. Again, in this section, personality focuses on the relationship of personal characteristics with work satisfaction. The third section provides information about work stress, work satisfaction and the formative role of social support. According to the information obtained in the last section, there is a negative link between work stress and social support, there is a positive link between work satisfaction and social support, there is no gender differences in work satisfaction, there is a reduction in work satisfaction with an increased level of education and there is a more complex, non-linear relationship between education and work satisfaction. The role of social support in business life has become undeniably evident, people cannot manage the negative situations they experience in the workplace on their own. Accordingly, job satisfaction is also visibly reduced. It is extremely important for individuals to know their personality traits better and to transfer these characteristics in a healthy way. The purpose of this study is to provide relevant information on the effects of personality traits on business life, the role of social support in stress and job satisfaction, and in what situations this support will be experienced, and what differences it may cause in the workplace. In the first part of the research, a literature research about job stress and job satisfaction is given. In the second part, job stress, social support relationship and job satisfaction models are mentioned. Also in this section, the relationship between personality and personal characteristics and job satisfaction is emphasized. In the third part, information is given about job stress, job satisfaction and the shaping role of social support. In line with the information obtained in the last section, there is a negative connection between job stress and social support, there is a positive relationship between job satisfaction and social support, gender differences in job satisfaction are not observed, job satisfaction decreases with an increasing education level, and education level and job satisfaction A more complex, nonlinear relationship was observed.
