Abstract:

The absence of a clearly defined veracity system has led to the struggle of the royal members, primarily princes, on the throne. In the face of the king’s failure to gather all the power in themselves and unable to establish a strong government, some royal members planned to take the throne with the help of their supporters from within the palace. As soon as they found sufficient support for themselves, they began the rebellion and tried to hit the king. This study will address the throne rebellions and coupes that occurred during the New Asyrian Empire. The reflections of all these experiences in the Asur veracetate system and the measures taken will be presented in the light of the documents. The subject of this work is Ashur-da'in-apla rebellion, Kalhu rebellion, II. Sargon's Thread Transition forms the Urdu-Mulissu Rebellion and the Shamaš-Shuma-ukīn Rebellion.
