Abstract Whereas currently the Fitness has been smoothed with new content, objectives and methodologies lookingfor the integral development of students, we believe relevant investigatethe causes that explain the avoidance of some students of the lessons of that discipline, from the conception that they have the same. We the case study of students from 5 th to 8 th series of primary school of the Municipal School of Indianópolis, by the application of questionnaires to a sample of 30% of those enrolled in series of field observation during the Shared Teaching in class taught in classes of 5 th and 7 th series. We conclude that small is the number of students who do not participate in classes in Physical Education and that the main reasons guided themselves to external factors, such as poor conditionsof infrastructure and material resources of the school.
