Abstract:

Nowadays, the times and places that make certain behaviors necessary, such as workplaces, working hours, temples, merasim areas, chat processes, are no longer seen as an obstacle to the behavior of internet orientation. Especially in young individuals, the tendency to participate in the area that space and time challenges, the new communication technologies build, is increasingly stronger. This study examines the "cybersecurity behaviors in class" which represent cyber extension participation behaviors, depriving university students of the course process and the obligations of the classroom environment. The purpose of the study is to determine how variables that may be associated with cyber disturbance behaviors and the level of internet addiction affects cyber disturbance in class. The sample of the study consists of 438 bachelor students who are continuing to study at a state university in Turkey and selected with the proportionate layer sample technique. Using the Nicel research methods, the process of data collection has used the personal information form, the scale of cybersecurity and the scale of internet addiction. It has been found that the average score of male students on internet addiction and cyber abuse in class is significantly higher than female students. The number of social media accounts, daily Internet use times, TV watch times have been determined to have a positive, weak level of relationship. In the course, the cyber abuse behavior is found to be a strong cutting-edge of internet addiction. The Internet dependency variable alone describes 35% of the total variance of cyber dependency in the class.
