The efforts of man to build a city are closely related to the desire to identify himself, to give meaning to his existence and to continue his life. The city is a product that a person creates with the aim of organizing his social life and guiding his social relationships. The Roman Empire was the empire of the cities. The Roman cities were the castle of a cultural, religious, social and political system that formed the structure of the Roman civilization. As the territory of Rome expanded, new cities and cities were established. The goal of the establishment of the urban units was to provide military security, facilitate the management of the lands, and economically take advantage of the dominated areas, as well as to speed up the process of Romanization. There are examples of classic urban planning in new cities. The Romans were influenced by the Greeks and the Etrusks in urban planning and architecture, but they re-formed the cities with their own techniques and innovations. The Romans, who built ancient, impressive, decorated monumental structures, have shown very successful architectural structures both in aesthetic and in use. Nowadays, the phenomenon of globalization standardizes cities, but the cities we live in are in many ways the continuation of the classical city.
