Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to thoroughly examine the opinions of classmates about the non-interest of the parent and to present solutions to increase the interest of the parent. The study has been used in the framework of the quality research approach. The study’s work group is made up of 12 class teachers who work in schools where the parent’s interest is low, determined by critical state sample technique from the purpose sample methods. The data of the research was collected in a semi-configured interview form consisting of 6 subjects open-end questions prepared by the researchers. Expert opinion was taken in the development of the interview questions. According to the data obtained, the participants ranked the causes of the parent’s disinterest in the form of material problems, work intensity, crowded family structure, education level, disinterest and broken family structure. If the participants are aimed at increasing the interest of the parent, they have presented solutions in the form of educational meetings, not too many children, home visits, communications, courses, gifts and guiding projects across the country. At the end of the study, a number of solutions were presented, such as doing activities that would love the school to the guardians, finding and eliminating the source of the non-interest of the guardians, and doing cultural activities to the guardians.
