Abstract:

This study detailed the definitions, fields, research-publishing opportunities and employment issues of the discipline of bioengineering that emerged in recent years in engineering and agricultural higher education, the study also included academic institutions and study programs in bioengineering study.Same uses of the term "biosystem engineering" in bioengineering are also applicable to other engineering fields. For instance, the reverse of machines in English is "Biological Systems Engineering" or the first two words are shortened in the form of "Biosystems Engineering". As it can be seen from the expressions, the word "system" is used as a multiplier in the form of "systems". When the term is translated into English, the answers are "Biological Systems Engineering" or "Biosystem Engineering". But the term "System" (Pellizi, 1996; Briassoulis et all, 2001; Engineering), which is previously included in the word, will be appropriate for Turkish writing and writing and being spoken, although the word "Systems Engineering" in English is the correspondence; it is expressed as single due to the ease of writing and spoken. This name has been adopted by a engineer "Biosystem" which has been completed by many persons or institutions in a single form and has been placed in Turkey. The title “Engineer” must also be given.
