Abstract:

A large part of the city transportation is carried out by public transportation systems. In our country, public transportation is done by tram, metro, minibus and buses in major cities. But in small cities, alternatives are decreasing and only vehicles such as buses and minibuses are used. In this study, the University of Kırıkkale has been attempted to determine which public transportation vehicle is more suitable for facilitating the travel and providing more comfort for persons carrying transportation between the campus and the centre of Kırıkkale. Only the road is transported on the specified route. This is why alternatives, minibus, minibus, bus, etc. There must be types of vehicles. The criteria for the vehicles are determined. The criteria are obtained by the analytical hierarchy process method. Alternatives are classified using the TOPSIS method using the found weights. According to the results obtained, the choice of the most suitable alternative vehicle was made.
