Hayat Bilgisi Dersi Öğretim Programlarının Çocuk Hakları Sözleşmesinin Eğitim Hedefleri Maddesi Açısından İncelenmesi: Tarihsel Bir Analiz

Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Türkiye’de Cumhuriyet Döneminde hazırlanan Hayat Bilgisi Dersi Öğretim Programlarını Çocuk Hakları Sözleşmesi’nin (BMÇHS) Eğitimin Hedefleri maddesi açısından incelemektir. Bu inceleme ile hayat bilgisi dersi öğretim programlarında gerçekleştirilen değişiklikler BMÇHS’ye göre değerlendirilmiştir. Tarihsel durum çalışması ile desenlenmiş olan bu çalışmanın veri setini 1924, 1926, 1936, 1948, 1968, 1998, 2005, 2015, 2017 ve 2018 hayat bilgisi dersi öğretim programlarına ilişkin yazılı dokümanlar oluşturmaktadır. Elde edilen veriler içerik analiziyle çözümlenmiştir. Elde edilen HBÖP’lere dair yazılı veriler içerik analizine tabi tutularak çözümlenmiştir. İncelemeler sonucunda, BMÇHS’nin Eğitimin Hedefleri maddesine yönelik hayat bilgisi dersi öğretim programlarında 3 tema ve 17 kategori elde edilmiştir. Bulgulardan hareketle her programda araştırma bağlamında değerlendirilebilecek düzenlemelerin gerçekleştirildiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre; programlarda yapılan düzenlemelerin boyutu açısından 1998 programına kadar ki programlar ile 1998 ve sonrasındaki programlar arasında önemli farklılıkların olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu farklılığın sebepleri incelendiğinde, ana etkenin 20 Kasım 1989 kabul edilen BMÇHS’nin olduğu düşünülmektedir. Ayrıca, 2005 hayat bilgisi öğretim programları araştırma kapsamında değerlendirildiğinde ise araştırma bağlamında en çok düzenleme yapılan program olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. 2005 programındaki düzenlemelerin fazla olması programın detaylı bir şekilde hazırlanması ve öğrenci merkezli yapılandırmacı yaklaşıma göre hazırlanmış olması ile açıklanabilir.

Review of the Curriculum of the Convention on the Rights of the Child in terms of Educational Goals: A Historical Analysis

The objective of this research is to study the life-knowledge teaching programs prepared in the Republic of Turkey in terms of the objectives of education of the Convention on the Rights of the Child (BMCHS). With this review, the changes made in the life-knowledge curriculum have been assessed according to the BMCHS. The data set of this study, designed with the historical situation study, constitutes written documents related to the 1924, 1926, 1936, 1948, 1968, 1998, 2005, 2015, 2017 and 2018 life knowledge courses. The data obtained is analyzed by content analysis. The written data on the HBÖPs obtained are subject to content analysis. As a result of the reviews, 3 themes and 17 categories have been obtained in the course of life knowledge to the subject of the Education Goals of the BMCH. The findings have come to the conclusion that the arrangements that can be assessed in the context of research in each program are implemented. According to the results of the study, there have been significant differences between the programmes until 1998 and the programmes after 1998 in terms of the size of the programmes. When the causes of this difference are examined, the main factor is considered to be the UNHCR adopted on 20 November 1989. In addition, the 2005 Life Knowledge curriculum was evaluated in the research context and the conclusion was that the most organized program in the research context. The fact that the regulations in the 2005 program are too much can be explained by the detailed preparation of the program and the preparation of the student-centered structuring approach.

Investigation Of The Life Science Curricula In Terms Of Convention On The Rights Of The Children’s The Aims Of Education: A Historical Analysis

In this study, the life sciences curricula examined in terms of the aims of education item of which the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Children (UNCRC) 29th item, arrangements made in the curricula were analyzed comparatively. The study was formed as a historical case study. The document analysis method was employed in this qualitative research. The data set of the study was composed the life sciences curricula 1924, 1926, 19236, 1948, 1968, 1998, 2005, 2015, 2017 and 2018. The obtained data about the life sciences curricula were analyzed by content analysis. As a result of the analysis, 3 themes and 17 categories were derived on the aims of education of the UNCRC from the life sciences curricula. The results of the study indicate that the life sciences curricula preceding and following the implementation of UNCRC puts an emphasis on various regulations which can be evaluated in the context of the relevant research. Another conclusion to be drawn when the curricula are reviewed is that there is a difference between the period up to the 1998 curriculum and the curricula following the 1998 curricula in terms of the dimension or depth of the emphasized regulations. When the reasons for this difference are examined, it is considered that the main factor is the UNCRC accepted on 20 November 1989. When the life science curriculum of 2005 was evaluated within the scope of the research, it was reached as the result of the most edited curriculum in the research context.
