Abstract:

Social network analysis measures and maps the relationships between people, groups, organizations, computers or everything that the information flow occurs. The participants of this study are 22 students who take the course of Teaching Technologies and Material Design. This research aims to identify the most and least preferred and possible reasons for getting information from students who use the various teaching technologies in the course for purposes such as producing digital curriculum materials, doing tasks and telling them, and also to study the performance and personality characteristics of these students. Thus, the aim is to understand how learning relationships exist in today’s technology-backed learning environments, to obtain clues to the effectiveness of these environments and to improve the performance of students. There was a significant high ratio of r=0,703 among the most preferred students' internal-degree centered scores and performance related to the course. There is no meaningful relationship between the personality characteristics of the students and the inner-degree centralization points. This finding is supported by the diversity seen in the personality characteristics of the most preferred students. These students can see the personality characteristics of emotional balance and emotional imbalance together with experience of openness and undevelopment. However, it has been shown that all of these students have high outwardness, soft headline and responsibility factor scores.
